You can adjust personal features, user interface, notification methods, etc. according to your own preferences, habits, and needs.

Interface Preferences

1. How do I switch the system background color (appearance)?

  • On the app: Open your OKX app, go to Main menu > User center > Preferences > Appearance. You can choose Follow System or Day/Dark Mode to adjust the app background color

  • On the web: On the spot trade page, find the Settings > Theme to adjust the background color

2. How do I switch the app/web language?

  • On the app: Open your OKX app, go to Main menu > User center > Preferences > Language

  • On the web: Find the Global on the website to change the language

3. How do I switch the quote currency?

Click on Assets, then under Total Asset Value, click on the valuation unit. In the expanded options, you can choose different quote currencies, such as USDT, USD, EUR, etc.

4. How do I switch the price change period and K-line time?

Open your OKX app, select Main menu > User center > Preference > Set 24h change and chart timezone. Here, you can select UTC+8, UTC, or 24-hour format according to your personal time zone and preferences to adjust the price change period and K-line time.

Profile Settings

1. How do I change my profile picture?

If your account has not set an avatar before, we will generate a unique and interesting default avatar for you. You can also edit it at any time on the app by going to the Main menu > your profile picture, and change it to any picture you like.

Message Preference Settings

1. How do I enable/disable email Message notifications?

Open your OKX app, go to Main menu > User center > Preferences > Notifications, where you can choose which feature modules you want to enable or disable, such as transaction or copy trading, and select how you want to receive notifications. You can choose to enable or disable Email, Push Notifications, and Web Notifications.

2. Can I turn off all email notifications?

To ensure you receive updates on your account activity and asset management status, you can only disable email notifications for certain modules, but you cannot turn off all email alerts (for example, asset management-related email notifications cannot be disabled).

3. Which modules can disable email notifications, and which cannot?

You cannot disable email notifications for asset management and dynamic updates. This helps you stay informed about account feed and transaction risks in real time.

You can disable email notifications for risk alerts and take profit/stop loss strategies in the transaction module.

4. How do I turn off email notifications for Liquidation alert?

On the trading page, find Settings > Preferences > Trade notifications to turn off notifications you don't need.

Note: please keep important notifications such as take profit/stop loss and liquidation alerts to help you manage transaction risks.

5. How do I find system notifications and notification settings?

On the app's Home, tap the Message icon in the upper right corner, then select "System Notifications" to view system notification messages. Tap the settings icon in the upper right corner, then select "Notification Settings" to configure the notification types for different modules. For the "transaction" module, you can enable "Email," "Push Notifications," and "Web Notifications." For the "New Features and Promotions" module, you can enable "Email" and "Push Notifications."

6. Did not receive a call notification for the customer service voice call

You can enable Notifications > OKX > Allow Notifications in your phone settings so you can promptly check the voice messages we send you.
